Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you enquire about an occasion, apply to work with us, refer a client, or otherwise contact us, including:

• Your name, email address and telephone number;
• If you are enquiring about an occasion, details such as preferred dates, guest numbers, location and the experience you have in mind;
• If you are a chef or partner applying to work with us, your business, website or social profiles, area of expertise and details of your work;
• If you are referring a client to us, your company, role and the clientele you work with;
• If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, your message and the contact details you use;
• Any other information you choose to share with us.

When you visit our website, we may also collect limited technical information, such as your device type, browser, approximate location and how you interact with the site, through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 05).

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss your occasion;
• To plan, design and deliver your experience;
• To consider and manage partnership enquiries;
• To communicate with you about our services;
• To operate, maintain and improve our website;
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Our basis for using it

We process your personal data on one or more of the legal bases recognised under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law:

• your consent, which you may withdraw at any time;
• where processing is necessary to provide a service or fulfil a request you have made;
• where we have a legitimate interest in operating and improving our business, balanced against your rights;
• where we are required to meet a legal or regulatory obligation.

Sharing your information

To deliver your experience, we may share only the necessary details with trusted partners and suppliers, such as chefs, florists, service staff and entertainers, strictly for the purpose of your occasion. We also rely on carefully selected service providers to operate our business, including our website host (Squarespace), the tools we use to receive and manage form submissions and email (such as Formspree), and analytics and advertising providers (such as Google and Meta). These providers may process data outside the UAE. We do not sell your information, and we share it only as needed and with appropriate safeguards.

Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help a website work and help us understand how it is used. When you first visit our website, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Essential cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them; analytics and marketing cookies are only set with your consent.

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, and subject to certain conditions and exceptions, you may have the right to:

• be informed about how your personal data is processed;
• access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request deletion of your data;
• restrict or stop the processing of your data in certain circumstances;
• object to processing, including for direct marketing;
• request the transfer of your data to another provider where technically feasible;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

Where your information is handled

We are based in the United Arab Emirates and process personal data in accordance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and its implementing resolutions. Some of our service providers (for example our website host, analytics and advertising partners) may process data outside the UAE. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected to a comparable standard. If you contact us from outside the UAE, your information may be processed in the UAE.
